"When you’re going through hell, keep going." — Winston Churchill
How many of us have heard the saying "Life is not a spectator sport"?
And yet, when you actually sit and think about it, how many in this life are walking around with a chimp on the shoulder and an exaggerated sense of entitlement?
The attitude of "Life owes me something because I am here and I am part of life".
And then they also add the concept of "I'm not doing ANYTHING until life gives me something first…"
Well for those with this mentality, I just want to say "WAKE UP"
Life doesn’t owe you a single thing.
The Universe isn’t going to stop expanding JUST to give little old you a nudge or a hop, skip and a jump in the right direction.
God is not going to help you… You know why? Because He already gave you the power to help yourself.
I see and hear of TOO MANY people who write a prayer list that closely resembles a Christmas wish list.
Like somehow just because they draw breath, they are miraculously owed all of the items on the list and they will behave like spoilt brats until they get them.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING
to make it happen?
Are you sitting on your hands?
Are you wishing and praying and hoping that your "ship will come in?" or are you swimming out to sea, out to where the waves are swelling, out to where the storm is raging to show God or The Universe or Fate or Spirit or whatever you want to call the Divine, that you are willing to meet Him half way?
Are you taking the necessary action to get ahead?
And if you have no idea where to start or what to do… Are you actively looking for guidance and support?
There is literally NO EXCUSE to just sit around in the middle of the storms and tribulations of life, hoping and wishing for a better outcome and yet not taking action to make it happen.
If you are in the eye of the storm, that means you're in the middle of that shit.
You have come to the centre and you are surrounded by chaos.
If you're just going to stay there, it will eat you alive, tear you apart and spit you out the other end distraught, destroyed, ruined and drained of all love and hope and passion.
But have you even stopped to think that if you are in the eye of the storm, the centre of the chaos… that you are already halfway through it?
That you have not only come a long way already, but you have grown stronger because of it, wiser thanks to it and despite your perception of "Poor Me"
, you have become a force to be reckoned with in your own regard.
So, stand up, centre YOURSELF, look within and find the power there.
Find God there.
Forget about the chaos outside of you and focus on the grace and love that is within you.
Then take the action and follow through and watch miracles unfold in your life.
